In the fall of 2025 we formed our Green Team, focused on sustainable tourism, and committed to measuring and improving our performance in four key areas:

Protecting Our Environment

We reduce waste, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and choose environmentally responsible products to protect our natural ecosystems.

Inspiring Action

We encourage visitors to act responsibly, learn about environmental care, and take part in practical sustainability initiatives.

Supporting Our Community

We work with local partners, prioritize locally sourced products, and help guests engage with the culture and heritage of the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.

Building a Resilient and Sustainable Workplace

We recognize that a supported, skilled, and engaged team is essential to caring for our park and delivering meaningful guest experiences. We are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive workplace grounded in wellbeing, learning, and shared responsibility, where all team members are treated fairly, supported in their growth, and empowered to contribute to our sustainability goals.

By taking these steps together, we aim to create a healthier park where every visit nurtures trust, care, and a deepening connection to the land.

To formalize our commitment to improving our sustainability performance, we have also signed the GreenStep Sustainable Tourism Pledge, and are excited to continually grow and learn new ways to improve our sustainablity practices for year to come.
